Latest news about myself.

Well I decided to put it on here instead of facebook.. I only have 25 weeks to go and I am only 12.5 weeks along. I usually get induced 3 weeks early so that is how I got that number. I have been a lot sicker this pregnancy then with any of the other. I had a hard time at first emotionally cause I have had a miscarriage between all of my babies and this was the first time I got pg after Reuben so the fact that I have made it this far is so great. I hoping the pattern has broken. Praying that come this summer we will meet boy # 4 haha we actually don't know what we are having but even though I will admit I would love a girl I don't want to get my hopes up so I am convincing myself that this baby is a boy too. I got to the see the heartbeat a couple weeks ago sigh of relief. Maybe someday I will go into depth with the emotional struggles I have had and sometimes still show up during this pregnancy.

Got them all out decide to Cut Obadiahs and Zedekiah hair after I was done with Obadiah he decided to go back in the tub with his shirt and diaper on. new diaper on. 1/4 bag of chips dumped on the floor. messy diaper spread all over on kitchen chair and on floor.. so back in the tub. this was all Obadiah. Today has been a little better just a little fighting.

Our year started out with the wonderful addition to our family Reuben Marck was born on Jan.10th with a head full of hair. Eldon & Maija & Paul came out in Feb to help out was so great to have them. Maija and Paul Stayed longer. Zedekiah got to play a lot with his cousin. Zedekiah celebrated his 3rd birthday on the 10th. In late march we moved back to the Tri cities we moved to an apartment that only lasted a week when we got a call saying that place out in the country we hoping to rent the other family backed out. We were so glad. Not too much happened in April May Seth was pretty busy with work . In June we made a trip to MN to surprise my family and to see Reuben Aho. In July we went to conventions hosted by Hockinson. September we celebrated Obadiahs 2nd birthday. November we finally made it to the beach and enjoyed a nice weekend at Alan n Nora's. We had Thanksgiving with Seth's family was a wonderful time. In December we spent a wonderful weekend at Greta and Eriks and attended the Matson Christmas in Vancouver We had a great time. As I am typing this Christmas eve is a day away. We are so blessed to beable to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. We both feel so blessed and excited to watch and know our family is growing in size and number. Everyday is a day of discovery around here as it seems daily at least on them is learning something new. So thankful for 6 beating hearts :)

Where has the time gone

Time to do some major updating.. wow can't believe the last time I posted was Reubens birth and he is now 10 months old. I should really change my title hmm maybe too Life in the boonies or Me and my boys.

Zedekiah is now 3 is at that stage where he has to tell me everything that is going on or that he is doing. "Reuben crying" I am informed of this one a lot. He does not like when Reuben cries so he will carry him to me. lately he has been learning some of his letters for some reason he really likes the letter K . He is officially potty trained very exciting. He is a very independant little boy and sometimes thats not easy to deal with. the last couple mornings he has woken up and came up to me and said good morning mom... aaw melted my heart. He is such a joy and it is so fun to see how much he is learning.

Obadiah is 2 and very busy he is starting to talk a lot more he loves to copy his big brother. He just turned 2 in Sept and all of a sudden he is learning words left and right. Its not always easy to understand what he is saying but I love his attempt. He is none stop and tell he falls asleep. He loves playing with Zedekiah and they usually play great with some fighting here and there. I have to keep an eye on him.. today he broke a couple eggs on the floor and I don't like him in the bathrooms either flooded the main bath one day.

Reuben is 10 months old and is going like a weed he has a head full of dirty blonde hair he does the army crawl everywhere and blabs a lot. He loves playing with his brothers and the attention they give him. he now has 7 teeth he got all top 4 in less then a month and only was crabby for one of them.

Well as for Seth and I we are doing good Kahlotus or Washtucna isn't Dole valley but we are together and thats what matters. We have learned that our plans don't always work out. We are both so enjoying watching our 3 little boys grow and all that they are learning. they are 3 of the greatest blessing in our life.

Reuben Marck's birth story.

This may contain To much info for some.

Sunday Jan 10th we arrived at the hospital at 6:30 am to be induced. After trying 4 times to get

an iv in by 8 am they were finally start the penicillin (GBS positve) and the oxytocin. Unlike my other inductions the contractions started to pick up right away. most of my contractions were in my back and they were tolerable. you might think I am weird but i would rather have back labor then the cramping contractions. I was able to walk around which was really nice. My nurse was wonderful. the second time that she checked me she thought the baby had moved so she had another nurse check me and the baby had shifted out of my pelvis area but I was 4 cm last time I was only 2. she had do me sit on the birthing ball to get baby down and since I had to be on monitors the whole time and for some reason the baby's heartrate wouldn't stay on unless someone was holding it so that is what my nurse did. around 3 pm my doctor came and ruptured my membranes. and the contractions really picked up and were getting worse they were now in the front and back. and I asked for the epidural. I was checked again was at a 5 if I would have known how fast or should I say how fast I was gonna go I would of got the epidural earlier. at 3:52 pm the epidural was put in and I had strong urge to push it hurt really bad to push.. what they call the ring of fire this was a first. ( went from sitting pretty much straight up to laying nd pushing atthe same time). and the head was right there the epidural didn't have time to set in. Reuben was born at 3:54 pm. they kept the epidural going cause ended up with a couple of tares. I started to shake and I thought that was strange but was told that it is quite normal. they kept the pit/oxytocin going to help my uterus contract and I was given Ibreprophren (sp?) I started to sting really bad and thought it was the stitches and they wanted to check to see how everyting was look and they discovered that I was quite swollen and had formed a hematoman (blood blister ) one side is completely swollen. since I had the epidural I was numb specially in my left leg. by the time they wanted me to go to the bathroom I thought I could make it. I made it to bathroom but as I was turning to sit down on the toilet my left leg completely gave out on me and I fell. Both Seth and the nurse felt really bad because it caught us by surprised. they were not able to get me up so my doctor and another nurse had to help me up and they had to get a wheel chair. I felt pretty embarrassed but they told me not to that they have seen worse. because of the swelling they put ice on it. and as I was sitting in the wheel chair my nurse sat there and applied pressure with the ice. When you have a baby all privacy goes out the window but its worth it. My Doctor was at the hospital all night and checked me several times. at 1 am he came and checked me and was quite concerned about the bleeding. oh they had to put a cathader in so was not able to get out of bed. Well anyways he told me that they were going to take me back and put me to sleep and see whats causing all the bleeding. and possibly do a blood transfusion. so around 1:30 actually earlier I was wheeled into surgery. from what I was told the hematoma was starting to split so it was bleeding and there was blood clot that he removed and I think there was some areas inside. I did loose a lot of blood but thankfully didn't need a blood transfusion. I am doing a lot better now the cathader is out so I am finally able to up. I am still pretty swollen so have to keep ice on it. Felt like I was walking with a ball between my legs. I haved dubbed this my worse labor so far. It is all worth it. Reuben has been doing really good past both his blood sugar test nursing really good. we were told that he has a big head acorrding to ultrasounds. he is bigger weight and length wise then his brothers but his head is smaller then theirs were Zedekiah's 15, Obadiah's 14 3/4 and Reubens 14 1/2. Reuben weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long. with a head full of hair. ... where Reuben got his name Reuben is my dads name and its also a bible name to go with our theme. Marck is after my father in law and my brother . my brother's is spelt marc and father in law is mark so that is why there is a c & k

past week.

This has been quite a week. Seth took the boys with him to the Tri cities so I could have a break and get something done. I also had 4 apts this past week too. I was finally able to get boys toys put away in a lot neater fashion. I have to admit that it was nice but I sure did miss them. I even made it to the mall wasn't really that fun I was hurting quite a bit as I had just been to the doctors and my doctor checked to see how much I was dialated. I am really wondering what labor is going to be like for this one. I have been telling myself that its going to be my worse so far. I am still not sure how I really feel about an epidural special with having one and not having one. I have read that you should still tell when push and it should only take away the pain. but I have heard stories of people who couldn't feel anything at all. and I like to have some control. I am going to be induced with this baby too. I am so glad that it is going to be over soon and that I will be holding our baby soon. I was able to catch up on some well needed sleep too. I am hoping that the boys adjust well to having a baby in the house. Its kind of funny I am still amazed that I am going to be having another baby.
